When you put together a new outfit to wear to work, an outing, or a date, the hardest part can be choosing which shoes you will wear with it. Different typesof shoes will give you different looks, so if you choose the wrong ones, it can turn a great outfit in to a major disaster, messing up your look. On the other hand, an ordinary outfit can look really great if you choose the right shoes for it.
But this does not have to be a dilemma. The proper pair of cute flats, boots, or other shoes can make a nice outfit into an awesome one. Below are a few examples of different types of shoes that match up well with different bottoms to complete your outfit.
Wedges -- With a heel that connects to the rest of bottom of the shoe, wedges do not have a separate heel piece common with most shoes. Low or high heels are available with this unique heel style.
It is best with flared bottoms, due to the shoe's chunky heel. Flared leg pants work well with this style, as well as long and flowing skirts.
Flats -- These shoes are a slipper style that are sometimes called ballerina flats. They can be either girly or elegant in their graceful appearance, depending on which details are used on a shoe of this style.
Skinny jeans work wonderfully with these dainty shoes. They are also a perfect shoe to accent shorter skirts without overpowering the rest of the outfit.
Boots -- The classic winter shoe, boots are available in a number of stylish fashions. Whether you are fond of knee-high or thigh-high boots, or if you like flat ones or heeled ones, there is a style out there for you.
Skinny jeans and long skirts are great styles to wear with boots, though a flared-leg jean will look good with the right boot as well. But when wearing long skirts, make sure that the boot itself is higher than the skirt's hemline.
Pumps -- Pumps are a great match-anything kind of shoe with their low-cut fronts and heels. The heels, depending upon the styles of the season, can be either wide or narrow.
And pumps just go together with almost anything. Wear them with a t-shirt and jeans for a sophisticated look, or with mid-length to long skirts for a classy look. They also pair well with trousers.
